Rockstar Games may not send review codes for Grand Theft Auto VI to journalists and content creators in an effort to prevent leaks, according to journalist Pedro Henrique Lutilippe. He shared the information during a podcast episode, as reported by Canaltech .
Instead of traditional review copies, the company is reportedly planning a closed review event where journalists will play the game onsite for several days, eliminating any risk of leaks. Lutilippe mentioned that no one will receive keys to the game.
The news comes as details about GTA 6 remain scarce following the game's second delay announced last year. The second trailer recently marked its one-year anniversary, offering glimpses of the protagonists and the fictional city of Leonidas. The game is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026.
